thanks for the report. But the numbering works correct if you do it with Tools
> Outline numbering etc.
Working with numbering linked to a paragraph style can work, but is more
complicated and not needed in most cases.
I guess that it's best to first ask for user-support. For example there is a
group of users with a great variety of skills that can offer help with
questions:
