I think you have not installed the local help for your selected User Interface language. All LibreOffice versions with their localized help packs: http://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/?C=M;O=D Through the function wizard [Fx] in formula bar, there are the all functions listed, possible select by categories, with a brief description, pushing the help button links to the help of selected function.
