          Priority: medium
            Bug ID: 80231
          Assignee: [email protected]
Summary: EDITING: Sort refuses to include formats when column
                    labels are merged
          Severity: normal
    Classification: Unclassified
                OS: All
          Reporter: [email protected]
          Hardware: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
           Version: 4.2.4.2 release
         Component: Spreadsheet
           Product: LibreOffice

Example table for testing the Data > Sort functionality.

In the Sort dialog, Options tab, tick "Range contains column labels" and
"Include formats". Click OK. If the selected range contains merged cells, you
get the error "Ranges containing merged cells can only be sorted without
formats." This happens even if the merged cells are column labels (that are not
included in the sort). If you untick "Include formats", the sort works as
expected.

The error message should appear only if the sorted cells contain merged cells.
The labels shouldn't matter.

This could be fixed also by improving the algorithm so that sorting merged
cells would be possible.
