The Mozilla UX team cares about such things *very* lovely and thoughtful. And *not* like a steam roller à la "one fits all", one Tango Theme and take that, unchanged for any OS/platform. It is *possible* to care much better on OS/platform specifics while being cross-platform. It's a matter of *will*.
