ign_christian <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|NEW |NEEDINFO CC| |[email protected] --- Comment #2 from ign_christian <[email protected]> --- Hi Wilhelm, We should not mark NEW to our own report. Others will review & confirm that. As far as I understand, you request an enhancement because of a bug: XLS can't save password protected sheet. (In reply to comment #0) > I want to appoint to a situation can bring problems. Let's say you have a > password protected sheet. It is trivial for an user to bypass this > protection by simply saving the file as .xls (MS Excel formats in general). Please attach sample file with that problem. I can't see the problem with LO 4.2.5.2. > Related to, as a protected sheet is accesible by macros, you should be able > to avoid, at a file level, the CREATION OF NEW MACROS for this file, so the > 'malicious' user can not read the protected sheet by this way. Sorry I'm not familiar with macros. Perhaps you could describe with simple test case how macros could 'hack' protected sheet. Then please change status to UNCONFIRMED to let others reviewing. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
