I created a footnote choosing the * character. I entered text for the footnote
with a space preceding it. Once the document was saved and re-opened, an
unwanted line space and tab indent had been added in front of the footnote
text. Sometimes I got multiple line spaces added.
I found that when saving the document in .odt format, I did not get this
problem.
