I was using version 3.4.3 when I tested your suggestion. Lots of capabilities for formatting appear to be lacking in Base. I tried saving the report as a .odt file and was able to change it from landscape to portrait. However, the change deleted the table heading for the entire table (title, author, date), so it was not a great change.
