          Priority: medium
            Bug ID: 80982
          Assignee: [email protected]
Summary: FILESAVE: Numbers with decimal places switch to
displaying "###" after a save or autosave
          Severity: normal
    Classification: Unclassified
                OS: Linux (All)
          Reporter: [email protected]
          Hardware: Other
        Whiteboard: BSA
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
           Version: 4.1.5.3 release
         Component: Spreadsheet
           Product: LibreOffice

Problem description:

Numbers with decimal places switch to displaying "###" after a save or
autosave. It can be corrected by using the menu of cell formatting and setting
1 decimal place there. It only stays so until next autosave.

When the displaying of those cells contents/results is OK, those cells also
ignore a button that tells them to decrease the number of decimal places. But
pressing a button to increase the number of decimal places suddenly makes them
jump up to a single decimal place. This is in a sheet that has been copied via
the sheet copy feature.

The cells in question have a simple equation "=H11/2", etc.

Steps to reproduce:
1. ....
2. ....
3. ....

Current behavior:
as above

Expected behavior:
spreadsheet software should NEVER EVER change the contents of the spreadsheet
tables and properties willy nilly on its own.

Operating System: Ubuntu
Version: 4.1.5.3 release
