          Priority: medium
            Bug ID: 81171
          Assignee: [email protected]
           Summary: EDITING: edit-find/substitute wrong behavior
          Severity: normal
    Classification: Unclassified
                OS: Windows (All)
          Reporter: [email protected]
          Hardware: Other
        Whiteboard: BSA
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
           Version: 4.2.4.2 release
         Component: Spreadsheet
           Product: LibreOffice

Problem description:

Steps to reproduce:
1. Select range of cells containing searched values
2. ctrl-H
3. substitute / change all

Current behavior:
changes values in entire sheet

Expected behavior:
changes values in selected cells only.

Like Excel does.
This is problematic on large sheets. When substituting values in large number
of cells (but just a sub-set of all sheet), it is not good to approve each
occurence of substituted string. Changing "all" should relate to selection in
such situation.
If one wants substitutions in entire sheet, just clears multi-cell selection.

Operating System: Windows (other)
Version: 4.2.4.2 release
