Priority: medium
Bug ID: 81306
Assignee: [email protected]
Summary: EDITING: Impossibile to resize formula field if under
another field
Severity: normal
Classification: Unclassified
OS: Mac OS X (All)
Reporter: [email protected]
Hardware: Other
Whiteboard: BSA
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Version: 4.2.5.2 release
Component: Spreadsheet
Product: LibreOffice
Problem description:
If you have a formula that is pointing at the same cell range twice and you
resize one of the two fields to make it bigger by dragging one of the corners'
square, you will not be able to resize the second one with the same method
Steps to reproduce:
1. New file
2. Fill the first 6 cells of the first column with numbers (cells A1:A6)
3. Chose an empty cell and write this formula in it: =SUM(A1:A4)-SUM(A1:A4)
4. Double clic on the cell with the formula to make the formula fields appear,
select the first one (at this stage they are one on top of the other and then
appear as one filed only) and drag one of the bottom corners' square down to
enclose cells A1:A6. At this point the formula should be =SUM(A1:A4)-SUM(A1:A6)
5. Now try and do the same with the other field, you will not be able to pick
the square for dragging. You will not be able to drag the whole rectangle by
clicking on its bottom line either.
Current behavior:
See above
Expected behavior:
You should be able to resize the smaller rectangle or to move it around. When
clicking, the priority of what gets picked and what not should be revised and
should depend on the vicinity of pickable element.
Operating System: Mac OS X
Version: 4.2.5.2 release
