I did notice that if you click on envelope on the bottom of the screen, it will bring up the envelope style screen. On this screen, the page setup shows a user defined page instead of a #10 envelope. If I change this to #10 the correct size will appear on writer but the text boxes will be off due to the previous settings from the insert envelope screen.
