Priority: medium
Bug ID: 81780
Assignee: [email protected]
Summary: FORMATTING: Left Justified Cells Not Displaying
Properly
Severity: normal
Classification: Unclassified
OS: Mac OS X (All)
Reporter: [email protected]
Hardware: Other
Whiteboard: BSA
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Version: 4.2.5.2 release
Component: Spreadsheet
Product: LibreOffice
Problem description:
When I enter text in a Left Justified cell it is truncated at the border with
the cell to the right even though that cell is empty. In other spreadsheets the
trucation only occurs when the adjacent cell has actual data in it.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Format a cell as Left justified making certain the adjacent cell on the left
is empty
2. Enter some text that exceeds the length of the cell
Current behavior: Truncation
Expected behavior: Continued Text Visibility which also shows as WYSIWYG on
printing.
This behavior is defacto for MS Office for Mac 2004 and 2011
Operating System: Mac OS X
Version: 4.2.5.2 release
