Oh sorry, I see what you mean now, and now I see why you are referring to "auto-insertion" of a paragraph. a) Table > Insert > Table = object placed PRIOR to cursor paragraph. b) Insert > Section = section placed PRIOR to cursor paragraph. c) Format > Columns = section/columns placed IN the cursor paragraph. This is an enhancement to get (c) to behave in a manner the same as (a) and (b). Seems reasonable - apologies for misunderstanding. Summary edited to clarify consistency in behaviour.
