The problem is that there is no easy way of turning them into numbers. The only way is going cell by cell and remove the tick. You can't run a replace command (you get "not found"). You can't change the format. If you input "25%" you can change the format from percentage to standard number without removing then "%" from every cell. Why text with the " ' " is different?
