Priority: medium
Bug ID: 82023
Assignee: [email protected]
Summary: EDITING: Sorting problem in Calc
Severity: normal
Classification: Unclassified
OS: Windows (All)
Reporter: [email protected]
Hardware: Other
Whiteboard: BSA
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Version: 4.3.0.4 release
Component: Spreadsheet
Product: LibreOffice
Problem description:
When I try to sort a long (~50K lines) spreadsheet with column labels, Calc
abruptly crashes instead of completing the sorting operation. I didn't specify
a previous version because I wasn't sure which version I had before installing
the current version, but sorting similarly sized spreadsheets worked before.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Load spreadsheet
2. Select entire range
3. Click Data -> Sort
4. Specify "Range includes column labels" and select columns to sort by
Current behavior:
When I specify the terms and click OK, I get a message saying that Calc has not
working.
Expected behavior:
In the past, Calc would be busy for a few moments and then show a sorted
spreadsheet.
Operating System: Windows 8
Version: 4.3.0.4 release
