          Priority: medium
            Bug ID: 82147
          Assignee: [email protected]
           Summary: Help GUI enhancements general
          Severity: enhancement
    Classification: Unclassified
                OS: Windows (All)
          Reporter: [email protected]
          Hardware: x86 (IA32)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
           Version: 4.2.5.2 release
         Component: Libreoffice
           Product: LibreOffice

Note the help corresponding to  Stable 4.2.5.2 release, has been installed;
Iam running JRE 1.7.0_51

1) Need icon to show the version of help installed; Suggest Help."about
LibHelp" , expect functionality like the Help button in Calc or writer;

2) need control to change the text size in displayed help; expect something
like lower RHS slider in Calc, or Writer;

3)I note that the LibreOffice.Tools.Options.View.UserInterface.Scaling, does
allow one to change BOTH the Main Suite interface, AND Help;

But it would be better,IMHO, to decouple them.
Example:
Say you may have a multiple windows open on the same dense spreadsheet, in the
current view( that you dont want to disturbe setting thereof),
BUT, you would like general help, in a larget typeface... ;

At present:
    the slider at bottom of Main Suite, only changes the content, not the GUI,
whereas,
    the Scaling option, changes everything.. in both Main Suite AND Help!

Note:
    the help application is installed seperately;
    coupling between Main Suite and Help is desirable;
    decoupling the GUI's of Main and Help is desirable;
