Priority: medium
Bug ID: 82203
Assignee: [email protected]
Summary: "error occurred during error reporting , id 0xb"
Severity: normal
Classification: Unclassified
OS: Linux (All)
Reporter: [email protected]
Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Version: 4.4.0.0.alpha0+ Master
Component: Database
Product: LibreOffice
Twice as I was browsing around the tables in Budget.odb as attached to
bug 82150 "Other: Subforms within subforms", JRE reported a SIGSEGV
but failed to produce the promised core file, instead issuing the
terminal message "[error occurred during error reporting , id 0xb]".
The first time I did (from memory):
(1.1) Run LibreOffice, naming the file on the command line.
(1.2) Click on the Tables icon.
(1.3) In tables pane, right-click on Accounts; from the pop-up menu
select Open.
(1.4) Close the Table Data View.
(1.5) In Tables pane, right-click on Auto; from the pop-up menu select
Open.
(1.6) In Table Data view, click on the icon to move to bottom of the
table.
(1.7) Close the Table Data View.
(1.8) In Tables pane, right click on "Budget level 1"; from the pop-up
menu select Open.
At this point LibreOffice reported a SIGSEGV and issued the dreaded
msgbox "Due to an unexpected error ...". Watch for terminal output
and JRE error log coming soon.
After LibreOffice automatically started itself (from notes I took at
the time):
(2.1) Close Writer document "Untitled 1".
(2.2) Open Budget.odb.
(2.3) Like steps (1.2), (1.3), (1.4), (1.5), and (1.7) previously.
Again SIGSEGV and msgbox. Again, terminal output and JRE error log
coming soon.
I recognize that this bug report does not provide much to go on.
Advice welecome.
