          Priority: medium
            Bug ID: 82222
          Assignee: [email protected]
Summary: EDITING: interpretation of date input
          Severity: normal
    Classification: Unclassified
                OS: Linux (All)
          Reporter: [email protected]
          Hardware: Other
        Whiteboard: BSA PossibleRegression
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
           Version: 4.3.0.4 release
         Component: Spreadsheet
           Product: LibreOffice

Problem description:
I used to be able to input a date in the format dMMMyy (e.g. 6aug or 6aug14) -
it would then convert the text to date.

now it keeps it as text - in fact unless I input in the format of language
(e.g. UK - d/m/yy) it does not convert the text.

hopefully this is self-explanatory.

Is not a crisis, but sad.

Steps to reproduce:
1. ....
2. ....
3. ....

Current behavior:

Expected behavior:

Operating System: Ubuntu
Version: 4.3.0.4 release
Last worked in: 4.2.6.2 rc
