          Priority: medium
            Bug ID: 82235
          Assignee: [email protected]
           Summary: Change document language
          Severity: enhancement
    Classification: Unclassified
                OS: All
          Reporter: [email protected]
          Hardware: Other
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
           Version: 4.2.5.2 release
         Component: Writer
           Product: LibreOffice

I use extensive preformattet templates for my documents. However, it early
versions it was possible to change the "Standard language" for a document and
all sub-formattings went with it and changed the language. Now I have to change
each template paragraph to the new language.

As I don't want to generate for each document template additionally one for
each language (which makes it hard to keep all formattings the same), it would
be good to be able to change the document language or the "standard" paragraph
language and have an option to "inherit" the language.

Once a language is selected, it cannot be undone in a pharagraph template.

Cheers
