this workaround works also on GNU/Linux. The appropriate file is located in
package libobasis<version>-<lang>-math_*. For me the smcs.res from
libobasis4.2-cs-math_4.2.5.2-2_amd64.deb works fine.

Btw.: it seems, that the libobasis4.3-en-gb-math_4.3.0.4-4_amd64.deb file also
includes broken symbol definition, since it did not help me.
