I figured out that LibreOffice does not freeze but does not seem to update the UI anymore. If I wait for about 20 seconds the printer dialog appears and everything works just fine. Maybe it has something to do with the image at the top of the document as it is not displayed immediately after pasting. It loads after ~10sec. But my internet connection is not as slow. The webpage loads and displays instant in Firefox.
