The LibreOffice window is like this when it hangs
LibreOffice 4.3.0.4 Fresh does not work on my Windows 8.1 laptop.
I tested this bug on two TOSHIBA Satellite notebooks with Windows 8.1
preinstalled.
Microsoft Office 2013 is installed with the "Click to Run" method too. I don't
know if this bug comes from a conflict with Microsoft Office.
I've installed LibreOffice from the official website, french version
(fr.libreoffice.com) with default components.
After the installation, when LibreOffice starts a first time, I can see the
LibreOffice logo with progress bar and first installation.
Next, the LibreOffice home window where normally I can choose a LibreOffice
program opens less than one second, and LibreOffice crashes. I can see the
window "libre office s'est brutalement arrêté" one second but it closes
immediately. A white window opens and closes immediately.
Now, when I attempt to open LibreOffice, I've just a white window "LibreOffice"
with nothing inside. The wait cursor appears when the mouse is into the window,
and Windows tells me that LibreOffice has crashed.
I tried to Repair the LibreOffice installation, but I've still the same
problem.
LibreOffice 4.2.6.2 works correctly on my computer.
