Eike Rathke <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hardware|x86-64 (AMD64) |All OS|Linux (All) |All Severity|blocker |major CC| |[email protected] Summary|LibreOffice Calc doesn't |reconsider Arabic decimal |calculate Arabic decimals |separator handling |numbers correctly | Version|4.2.4.2 release |Inherited From OOo Component|Spreadsheet |Localization --- Comment #5 from Eike Rathke <[email protected]> --- The Arabic ar-EG (and other) locale data defines U+066B "٫" ARABIC DECIMAL SEPARATOR as decimal separator, hence a digit sequence containing the '.' dot separator is not converted to a numeric input but stays text. Is the Arabic decimal separator actually used with Hindi (ASCII) digits? If yes, why is '.' dot expected to work in an Arabic locale? If not, what separator is used, ',' comma (I assume) or '.' dot? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
