Priority: medium
Bug ID: 82673
Assignee: [email protected]
Summary: SLIDESHOW: Audio and video file repeat number setting
feature request
Severity: normal
Classification: Unclassified
OS: Linux (All)
Reporter: [email protected]
Hardware: Other
Whiteboard: BSA
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Version: 4.3.0.4 release
Component: Presentation
Product: LibreOffice
Problem description:
This is a feature request rather than bug.
I suggest to have more options to play media files on a slide: e.g. how many
times to repeat it.
Steps to reproduce:
1. ....
2. ....
3. ....
Current behavior:
Expected behavior:
I used slides for foreign language dictation testing. Now I need to make a lot
of extra work to prepare the slides for it and it should be easier to do.
When I insert an audio or video file on a slide I want to be able to set how
many times the slide should be repeated and then move automatically to the next
slide.
I also would like to set the time pause between repeating the same media file
on the same slide.
For example: play an audio file 5 times with 0.8 seconds pause between them.
After the last play, move to the next slide.
Actually it would be even better to create several settings that I can just
apply to all or selected slides.
e.g.
Beginner level setting: repeat media 5 times with 1.2s pause between them
Intermediate level setting: repeat media 3 times with 1s pause between them
Advanced level setting: repeat media 2 times with 0.45s pause between them
I would like also to be able to choose to hide or show each text box on the
slide - as part of the setting above.
So when the audio plays during the test, some text is hidden while others are
shown. When I show the duplicated and modified same slide to the students to
check the correct solutions, I want to make the text visible like a subtitle.
Thank you
