Repro steps:

1) Download Testcase.odp attachment
2) Open in Impress
3) Add text to slides
3) Run presentation with F5

NOREPRO -- I do not experience any slowness when I try to edit or run the
presentation.

(Changing status -> RESOLVED WORKSFORME)

Nadie: Please download a current build of LibreOffice
(https://www.libreoffice.org/download/) and see if that fixes your speed
problems. If the presentation still seems slow to open, please leave a comment
(and change the status back to UNCONFIRMED).

Thanks!
