Open empty new Writer (does not matter) document > 2. Type a short nonsense string > 3. double click string > 4. Click Hyperlink Dialog Icon in Standard Toolbar > » Hyperlink Dialog will appear > 5. In left vertical icons pane select "Internet" > 6. Click "Web" radio button > 7. Click "WWW Browser" Icon right from URL input line > » Browser will be launched > > Current behavior: At URL "http:///" an error message "Invalid URL" will be > shown CONFIRMED. That's a bug: We should be using a different default url when we launch the browser. > Expected behavior: Document > file:///<LibreOfficeProgramFolder>/share/template/en-US/internal/ > url_transfer.htm > should be opened with some hints "Transferring Web Addresses" > as it does in AOO I'm not sure I'd expect the button to open a local webpage. The tooltip I get for the browser button is "Open web browser, copy an [sic] URL, and paste it to the Target field". What's in the file 'url_transfer.htm'? It doesn't appear to be present anywhere in the LibreOffice install. Status -> NEW as there's at least one bug here.
