Priority: medium
Bug ID: 82838
Assignee: [email protected]
Summary: EDITING: CRASH when copy - paste
Severity: normal
Classification: Unclassified
OS: Windows (All)
Reporter: [email protected]
Hardware: Other
Whiteboard: BSA
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Version: 4.2.5.2 release
Component: Spreadsheet
Product: LibreOffice
Problem description:
When I paste cell contents from other LibreOffice Version: CRASH "Unknown SEH
exception"
Steps to reproduce:
0. Launch LibreOffice 4.2.5.2 and 4.4.0.0-dev on the same PC
► open empty new Calc document with each version
1. open empty new Calc document with LibreOffice 4.2.5.2 ►
Into cell C3 type "abc" ► <enter>
2. Doubleclick C3 ► <ctrl+c> for "copy"
3. Doubleclick C3 in 4.4.0.0-dev document ► <ctrl+v> for
"paste"
» CRASH, sometimes with message
The crash also appears for copy - paste between other versions, sometimes only
with additional preconditions. For example Copy Attachment 104751 for Bug
82719 cell C3 from AOO 4.1.0 and paste it as per step by step instruction to
LibO 4.2.5.2. Also Crash with this proceeding LibO 4.2.5.2 <-> 4.3.1
No Crash LibO 4.3.1 <-> 4.4.0.0
The crash is caused by very unusual edits, but I think the crash shows a
vulnerability what should be eliminated.
Operating System: Windows 7
Version: 4.2.5.2 release
