Bug #: 46615
Summary: FILESAVE: Save as picture causes frequent crashes
Classification: Unclassified
Product: LibreOffice
Version: LibO 3.5.0 Release
Platform: Other
OS/Version: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Status Whiteboard: BSA
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Drawing
AssignedTo: [email protected]
ReportedBy: [email protected]
Problem description: Selecting an image and choosing "Save as image" most often
results in an application crash
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open an odg, or odp file including a bitmap
2. Select bitmap, right click to get context menu, select save as picture from
context menu
3. Provide a filename and press ok
Current behavior:
libreoffice does not suggest a file type for the image to be saved. On saving
most often it crashes leaving no java log (as it often does). When it crashes,
one remains with a zero length file for the saved image. Even when it does not
crash, one gets things like
(soffice:13406): Gtk-WARNING **: Unable to retrieve the file info for
`file:///home/callegar/Documents/Didattica/Slides/EAA_2011-12/pot2.png': Error
stating file '/home/callegar/Documents/Didattica/Slides/EAA_2011-12/pot2.png':
No such file or directory
terminate called after throwing an instance of
'com::sun::star::lang::DisposedException'
Expected behavior:
libreoffice suggests the file type capable of providing the best image export
(the same as the type in which the image is stored inside the document file).
Then it saves the file correctly.
Platform (if different from the browser):
Browser: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:10.0.2) Gecko/20100101
Firefox/10.0.2
