Assignee: [email protected]
Summary: Sorting causes calc to crash
Severity: major
Classification: Unclassified
OS: Windows (All)
Reporter: [email protected]
Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Version: 4.3.1.1 rc
Component: Spreadsheet
Product: LibreOffice
Created attachment 105432

xls example
Open xls file.
Sort columns A and B together.
Libreoffice crashes and starts recovery process.
Windows 7 x64
Libreoffice 4.3.1.1
Reproduced in 4.3.1.1 build c4b15cd4d00dec6b266fa830b4ba73e31ae6ce73
Reproduced in 4.3.1.2 build 958349dc3b25111dbca392fbc281a05559ef6848
This is a small subset from larger sheet.
Sorted correctly in all Libreoffice 4.2.5 and earlier versions.
I can highlight and sort the bottom 22 rows together and it is fine, as soon as
I sort the bottom 23 rows or more it crashes.
If I do a save as on the sheet as .ods, close Libreoffice, reopen the sheet. It
will sort without crashing. Then I can save as that .ods file back to .xls,
close and reopen the new sheet and it will sort without crashing.
I can copy and paste the two columns from the attached sheet into a brand new
sheet and save an .xls, close and reopen that new sheet and it will crash on
sorting.
