SIN
Returns the sine of the given angle (in radians).
Syntax:
SIN(number)
Returns the (trigonometric) sine of number, the angle in radians.
To return the sine of an angle in degrees, use the RADIANS function.
Example:
SIN(PI()/2) returns 1, the sine of PI/2 radians.
SIN(RADIANS(30)) returns 0.5, the sine of 30 degrees.

You can convert between the two with the following formula:
1 pi radian = 180 deg.

This is the same in all office suites.
