Looking more into the issue, the text which is in DejaVu Sans Mono is assigned
the 'Source Text' character level style, which is why it looks like that. When
you set the text using the 'Text Body' paragraph level style, this wont
override the character level styles. The Liberation Serif text with has a
character level style of 'Default Style' and so you can use that character
level style to fix the issue. You can find paragraph and character level styles
in the Styles and Formatting dialog, which can easily be opened by clicking the
F11 key.
