Priority: medium
Bug ID: 84343
CC: [email protected]
Assignee: [email protected]
Summary: DIALOG: 'Slide Design' dialog doesnt list masters
available to be used
Severity: enhancement
Classification: Unclassified
OS: All
Reporter: [email protected]
Hardware: Other
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Version: unspecified
Component: Presentation
Product: LibreOffice
As a new presentation app user, i was very confused about what the slide design
dialog did, because all it listed was the default master slide. So i'd like to
suggest that the list of available presentations backgrounds also be included
in this dialog, similar to how they are listed in the master slides pane in the
sidebar.
Users could go the long route to achieve this same behaviour by clicking on the
'Load' button, then clicking 'Presentation Backgrounds' and then selecting one
from the 'Templates' list.
So the new dialog would look something like this.
----------------------
Select a Master Slide Design Used in This Presentation
[list of master slides]
Select a Master Slide Design from the Template List
[list of master slides]
[checkboxes]
[buttons]
----------------------
In order not to heavily increase the height of the dialog, the master slide
lists should contain 3 entries per row and should be a single row.
