[email protected] changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|UNCONFIRMED |NEW CC| |[email protected] | |anz.de Ever Confirmed|0 |1 --- Comment #2 from [email protected] 2012-02-29 04:35:53 PST --- Confirmed. Exactly the same happened on Windows XP (2 GB RAM, another big program loaded) with LibO 3.4.5. Works fine on Vista 64 with LibO 3.4.5 (with several GB RAM free, WOW64 can reserve maximal memory for Windows32 applications). Task manager shows that the memory comsumption after pressing Ctrl-D is about 1.4 GB. Memory issue seemed probable, therefore tested with VirtualBox: LibO 3.5.1 Beta 1 in a VirtualBox with 1 GB RAM and 2 GB on HD free: out of memory a couple of seconds after pressing Crtl-D (not enough virtual memory). LibO crashes. LibO 3.5.1 Beta 1 in a Virtual Box with 2 GB RAM 2 GB on HD free : OK, no problems. LibO 3.3.4 in a VirtualBox with 1 GB RAM and 5 GB on HD free: OK, no problems. (Seems to freeze for about 2 minutes, but the result is OK) There seems to be not enough free memory to compute the formulas on a 32-bit system reliably. Nevertheless, LibO should not crash or hang. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug. _______________________________________________ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list [email protected] http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
