To remove a hyperlink in Writer, right-click on it and then select 'Remove
Hyperlink' from the drop-down list.

I agree that this information does not seem to be in the current stable release
of the Writer Guide. I'll mark this bug as 'NEW'.

It looks like that question is talking about hyperlinks in Calc cells, which
*can* be removed with Clear Direct Formatting, whereas you're talking about
hyperlinks in Writer, which *can't* (as far as I can tell) be removed with
Clear Direct Formatting.

I'm not sure if we have documentation describing the different behavior, but
consistency between the way that Clear Direct Formatting works in Writer and
Calc would be appreciated. Perhaps the Documentation Team can make a note of
this behavior for user clarity.
