          Priority: medium
            Bug ID: 84467
          Assignee: [email protected]
Summary: Searching for font size does not always work
          Severity: normal
    Classification: Unclassified
                OS: Linux (All)
          Reporter: [email protected]
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
           Version: 4.3.2.2 release
         Component: Writer
           Product: LibreOffice

Searching for a font size does not work when the manual font size happens to be
the same as the one set by the style. A step-by-step procedure will make this
clear:

* Create a new document in Writer. I assume that your standard font size is 12
pt.
* Type “Test Test Test”.
* Manually assign a font size of 14 pt to the middle “Test”.
* Invoke the Search and Replace dialog.
* Select to search for the font size attribute.
* Run the search. This will highlight the middle »Test«.
* Dismiss the Search and Replace dialog.
* Manually assign a font size of 12 pt to the middle “Test”. (Not by undoing,
nor by removing manual formatting, but by selecting a new font size.)
* Invoke the Search and Replace dialog.
* Run the search again. (The attributes flag is still set.) LO does not find
the manually assigned font size attribute.

To verify that the manual font size attribute is actually there, go to the
right edge of the middle “Test”, hit Enter, type something like “Title” and
assign a parapgraph format of Title to this new paragraph. It will use a font
size of 12 pt.
