How about implementing a QA (Quality Assurance) module for checking references.
I work with many large documents and I'm having trouble spotting invalid
references ("Error: Reference not found")
As I work with a master document, for some reason I spot the invalid references
only at the master document level, and some are invalid only in the master
document, while being valid in the subdocument itself.
