            Bug ID: 84766
Summary: Export multipe slides on one page messes up
                    orientation
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 4.3.2.2 release
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
                OS: Linux (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: major
          Priority: medium
         Component: Presentation

I want nothing more than export a slideshow 6 pages on 1 into a PDF ... This is
what I do (with the attached odp):

- File: Print
- Tab Options: check "Print to file"
- Tab Page Layout: Pages per Sheet: "6", order: "left to right, then down",
Draw a border around each page
- Tab LibreOffice Impress: check "Fit to printable page"

Printer set is PDF (CUPS) and the orientation of this printer is by default set
to "Landscape". Then, the whole mess starts:

The screenshot <1.png> shows that LO gives the right kind of preview given the
above settings. So, obviously one would set the printer to Portrait and get
this right. I do that and get the result shown in <2.png>, looks good, doesn't
it? (BTW: I always have to set the orientation to Portrait twice, it never
accepts it the first time around.

HOWEVER ...

1) when that is printed, it is still wrong, -> <1.pdf>
2) when I now say I want to print only slides 1-7, then the orientation preview
reverts (see <3.png>). So I set it back to Portrait, still wrongm ->
<1then2.pdf>

The same happens if I do all of the above without checking "Print to file" and
just choose the CUPS PDF printer, -> <notprinttofile__portrait.pdf> and
<notprinttofile__landscape.pdf> so there the printer orientation doesn't even
make a difference.

Bottomline, I can't even print multipel slides on one page with LO - how is one
supposed to get ppl to adopt this when something as basic as this doesn't
work?! It's very frustrating that there's all new features and buttons and crap
when it's more important to fix stuff. I mean, I love LO and have used it for
all my work for 7 years but this is frustrating.
