I'm just preparing my slides and images come and go when and where they want. Usually the Images tend to stay after loading them again one or a few times... but until no further changes are made it's absolutely unpredictable which images are going to stay or disappear. If people think no-one is interested: I just assume this is a show-stopper that makes people turn away and never come back.
