Turned off all the formatting "aids" I could, including
Tools > AutoCorrect Options > go to Options tab > uncheck Apply Numbering
PLEASE PLEASE GIVE US A COMPLETE TURN OFF OF ALL THE AUTO ANYTHING FUNCTIONS!
We have been asking for this forever.
I can't use this editor this way. I will use word pad instead if I have to.
