LibreOffice 3.5.0 under Windows either 64 bit or 32 bit requires the x86 (32
bit) Java runtime either Java 6 or Java 7. Bug 39659 was LibreOffice 3.4.4 and
prior requiring Java 6 x86 (32 bit) and would not recognise Java 7 x86 (32 bit)
and would crash on startup. (In reply to comment #20)

Have you installed a 32 bit (x86) Java runtime?
