Bug #: 47017
Summary: EDITING: Alt+Shift while dragging a highlighted row no
longer moves the row
Classification: Unclassified
Product: LibreOffice
Version: LibO 3.5.0 Release
Platform: Other
OS/Version: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Status Whiteboard: BSA
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Spreadsheet
AssignedTo: [email protected]
ReportedBy: [email protected]
Problem description: Since OpenOffice.org Calc and until LibreOffice Calc
v.3.5, a highlighted row could be moved by holding down Alt and Shift while
clicking and dragging the row.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Create a spreadsheet with different data in each cell, where some rows
contain data in some of the cells and not in others.
2. Highlight the row by single-left-clicking the row number.
3. While holding down Alt and Shift, single-left-click and hold on the
highlighted row itself, not the row number.
4. Drag the row to a new location between two other rows that contain data.
Current behavior: As of version 3.5, only the cells that contain data move and
if they're dragged to a row that also contains data in other cells than the
source row, strange things happen. Please see the attached spreadsheet.
Expected behavior: Before version 3.5, the entire row would move and displace
all the rows before it.
Platform (if different from the browser): Ubuntu 11.04
Browser: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:10.0.2) Gecko/20100101
Firefox/10.0.2
