Installed 14.1.1.1. Check for updates... Does not find anything but since I'm not sure if this extension is officially supported maybe that is expected and this bug is about manual update. So downloaded 14.10.2.1 and opened that with LO. it asks to replace the existing version. I confirm with "OK" and receive no error. The extension is updated as expected. OSX 10.10.
