Several rows can already be added at once in the spreadsheet if you first
select several rows you want to insert (more precisely, select as many rows you
want to insert).

For instance, select 5 rows, then click right and choose "Insert Rows Above". 5
rows are then inserted above the first one you selected (and the inserted rows
become the ones selected).

That's the way it works for years in spreadsheet applications (including
Microsoft Excel), and it allows inserting hundreds or thousands of rows at once
if you want to. Doesn't this perfectly fit the requirement?
