            Bug ID: 86141
Summary: EDITING (improvement): making matrix formula edition
                    easier and more user-friendly
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 4.3.2.2 release
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
                OS: Windows (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Spreadsheet
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Problem description:
Once you have created a matrix of cells in a spreadsheet, you need to select
precisely every cell of the matrix and only those (and you have to guess where
the matrix starts and where it ends as there are no visible matrix delimiters)
before being allowed to edit the matrix formula. This is a rather painful.
Editing the matrix formula could be easier and more user-friendly than that.

How to reproduce the issue, starting with an empty spreadsheet:
- Select cells B4 to B8.
- Type "=1+1" then Ctrl+Shift+Enter. Note that from now on, when current cell
is B4, B5, B6, B7 or B8 (that is, any cell of the matrix we just created),
formula in formula bar is shown within curly brackets ("{=1+1}").
- Go to any cell of the matrix (e.g. B7) and press F2. Calc only opens a pop-up
box saying something like "Cannot modify a part of the matrix only".
- Select B5 to B8 and press F2. Calc only opens a pop-up box saying something
like "Cannot modify a part of the matrix only".

Expected result:
When pressing F2 to edit the cell(s) in the matrix:
- either Calc would force selecting every cell in the matrix, then edit the
matrix formula,
- or Calc would show up a Yes/No dialog box saying "Cannot modify a part of the
matrix only. Do you want to edit the entire matrix?" if not all matrix cells
are already selected, then, if yes, select every cell in the matrix and edit
the matrix formula.
