Bug #: 47043 Summary: Auto-sum and Next Page Classification: Unclassified Product: LibreOffice Version: unspecified Platform: All OS/Version: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: enhancement Priority: medium Component: Writer AssignedTo: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org ReportedBy: prithwishchatter...@gmail.com 1. The Writer component has a feature called "Auto-sum" which has a symbol of the greek letter "Σ". Presently, it does what it intends to. However, it is felt that there should be two Σ type symbols in the tool bar (may be another different symbol). One should add all the cells above in a table automatically upon clicking the symbol in the tool bar e.g cell 1 to cell 10 and the other would do so in a selective manner manually as per user requirement e.g., user might click cell 1 + cell 3+ cell 7 etc. to add up manually. This second option would open a formula bar for the input. This, I felt would reduce time in calculating in situations where clicking autosum would add up all the above cells automatically as the user knows that the above cells in the Writer table needs to add up or by allowing to do it manually by simply selecting the necessary cells. 2. There should be "Next Page" option in the "Manual Break" operation apart from "Page Break". The next page should have different attributes completely different from the first page.Example, the user might have chosen page number i in the first page. In the "next page" he might like to add page number 1 (the first one being roman and the second one would be in pain number format). Other new sets of attributes may be chosen by the user as per his requirements. This feature should not be in conjunction with page style which an average user like me often finds embarrassing and difficult to use. This should be a new feature -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug. _______________________________________________ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
