            Bug ID: 86880
Summary: SIDEBAR: the tab in view should be the last selected
                    by the user before exit
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 4.3.4.1 release
          Hardware: Other
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: medium
         Component: UI
          Assignee: [email protected]

Hi devs,
when I work on LO I usually need to move through the numerous chapters of the
book and I like make use of the sidebar selecting the "Navigator" tab, then
expanding the "Headings".

However, when I open LO to work again on my file, I need to redo all the steps
because the sidebar is focused by default in the "Properties" tab instead of my
last selection, "Navigator" > "Headings".

Is it possible to remember the user's favorite selection of the sidebar in the
next work session (not only the first level, the tabs, but also the selections
done inside the tab)?

I mean, if the user change the default sidebar view is for a reason, probably
for his/her work is better to have in view something different by "Properties",
so should be fantastic if LO take a "snapshot" of the user UI before exit and
reload that setting in the next session.
What you think about it?
Thank you!

Regards,
Valerio
