That is only true if the signature was made with long-term validation (LTV),
which in turn is even more complicated (an additional step beside including the
timestamp is including an OCSP repsonse for the signing certificate from the
moment of the signature, showing that it was valid at the time the signature
was made - only then does Acrobat show the signature as valid even after the
signing certificate has expired)
