             Bug #: 47192
Summary: [FILEOPEN] Calc password protected file save in LO
                    3.5.0 don't open in 3.4.4
    Classification: Unclassified
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: LibO 3.5.0 Release
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Spreadsheet
        AssignedTo: [email protected]
        ReportedBy: [email protected]

Hello,

When saving a password protected file with LO 3.5, and then I try to open it
with LO 3.4.4 it failed, with the error message: "Error in format of the sub
file content.xml at position 1,1(row,col)". (Note: It it a French message i've
translate myself in English, I may not have the right English one).

OS:
 - Ubuntu 12.04 64bits beta (LO 3.5)
 - Ubuntu 12.04 64bits beta (LO 3.4.4 using the version ship in 11.10 via
chroot)
 - Ubuntu 11.10 64bits full patchs (LO 3.4.4)
 - Windows 7 SP1 64bit (LO 3.4: buildid=340m1(Build:203))
 - Windows 8 Consumer preview 32bits (LO 3.5.0)

>From 3.4 to 3.5 no problem.

>From 3.5 to 3.4:
 - Create a Calc file (an empty file is fine), save it with a password, using
LO 3.5.
 - Try to open it with another LO 3.5 on another system: it work.
 - Try to open it with LO 3.4 in the same system, or in another: it failed.

LO 3.4 didn't even ask me for a password, I have directly the error message. I
think that LO 3.4 didn't see this file as encrypted.

Rename the LO3.5 file with a ".zip" extension, decompress it. The zip program
don't ask you for a password, and extract encrypted files (nor the 3.4
encrypted file either...).

I didn't check for others type of files (writer, ...), perhaps it is the same
(I suppose the same code is used).

Thanks for reading (and more for fixing it ;-) )
