Bug ID: 86973
Summary: VIEWING:
Product: LibreOffice
Version: unspecified
Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: major
Priority: medium
Component: Writer
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Some of the built-in bullet characters Writer allows in unnumbered lists (e.g.
diamond/flower, filled-in circle) cannot be exported properly to HTML.
Andras Timar noted in his fix of this bug:
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=68684
... Please open a new bug for this. The problem is that HTML is limited in this
regard. You can have <ul type="disc|circle|square> and that's all. For
arbitrary bullet character you need to use CSS hacks. See e.g.
http://alistapart.com/article/taminglists
I assume this is the case in all vversions of LibreOffice on all platforms,
though I have not tested.
