--- Comment #6 from [email protected] --- Similar situation: I cannot create any new files without endless loop and "program not responding" dialogue. I'm using Windows8 (with Windows7 skin, in case that makes a difference) and with the new LibreOffice 4.3 version I cannot create new files by right clicking OR by clicking on the new folder tab. I've tried by "opening" a file and by "saving" a file to create a new folder and in all situations I get the same loop and no response resulting in my having to force close the program.
